Daydream Statement Earrings, made in 950 silver with transluscent enamel and natural Amethyst.This jewel is part of the Art Nouveau Collection, inspired by the aesthetics of the artistic movement that had its heyday in 1890 and declined in 1910 with the First World War. The Art Nouveau Collection is launched to the public having already been awarded, with the project under which it was designed winning Bronze in the category Student - Fashion Design of the Bornancini Design Award 2022.
 
The module used throughout the collection displays features such as sinuosity, organicity, lightness and symmetry of the Art Nouveau lines. It was developed through the extraction and modification of graphic art elements from artists and designers such as Christopher Dresser, Alphonse Mucha and Florence Caulfield.
 
The use of enamel, through the Plique-à-jour technique,  allows the passage of light, alluding to stained glass panels, artistic and decorative objects characteristic of the Movement.
 
The gem chosen for this collection was Amethyst, a mineral characteristic of Rio Grande do Sul, state where the designer was born. Amethyst was also a stone widely used in jewelry during the Victorian Era, of which Art Nouveau was part, thus bringing, through it, yet another connection to the period.
