This jewel is one of my exclusive articulated ring designs, completely handmade in Gold Plated Brass and a natural Amethyst. This project was inspired by the aesthetics of the Art Nouveau movent, that had its beginning in the 1890s and its apogee in the 1900s and focused on organic, sinuous curves inspired by nature, and the Art Deco movement, its predecessor, focused on geometric, ornamental and abstract shapes, that had it's beginning in the 1910s and it's apogee in the 1920s. Other inspirations for my collection of articulated rings are architectural elements of various periods and, of course, historical armors and the mechanics around them.
 
As we speak of a natural stone and an artisan process, the rings will never be completely the same, so this is, in essence, a one-of-a-kind piece. SIZING: This is an adjustable ring. Both superior and inferior bands are open so you can adjust them to your finger measurements (please be careful in opening and closing the bends, and do that for an initial adjustment to your size). The distance between the bands is 4cm. This distance was calculated and tested to fit comfortably fingers in which the distance between both upper and bottom phalanges is 4cm+ (preferably from 4 to 5cm approx). That ensures the functioning of the articulations, guaranteeing full and free movement and bending of your finger. If the measurements of your finger are smaller or even way bigger, don't worry, you can make a custom order of this design to your specifications
 
Notes about the platings: Platings are always added on top of the base metal (brass) to provide more durability and resistance to oxidation.
 
White Rhodium has a very similar shade to silver, but all platings intensify the shine and durability of the ring; Champagne gold has an 18k gold shade, and Yellow Gold is a 24k shade, being a more intense yellow. I always recommend the champagne alternative; Black Rhodium is a darker grey tonality (please note it is not completely black, but a darker shade of grey).
 
STONES: You can order this design with different stones by sending me an email or DM on Instagram. Same stones might have different values, depending on the cut, size and its clarity (how many inclusions it has). The sorting of the stone depends on suppliers' availability.
